The New Plain and Fancy Cookbook
This much-loved cookbook has had four print editions and remains a valuable resource for expatriates in the Philippines. On this site you now have free access to the 5th edition in an e-version to suit you, to print if you desire.
What's the same? The recipe contents remain the same as the 4th edition (1988); any book with a publishing year since 1988 was a reprint. What's different? All downloadable versions are searchable (so there is no index), the recipes are hyperlinked, and the PDF version is repaginated so that recipes do not split over two pages. Copyright and licensing SIL retains the copyright, but we are now using a Creative Commons license: Attribution, Noncommercial, Share Alike. This license lets you remix, tweak, and build upon this work noncommercially as long as you credit SIL and license the new creations under the identical terms.
