Buttermilk Frosting Glaze
Mix together in a large saucepan
1 C sugar
1/2 C sour evap milk* or buttermilk
1/4 C margarine
1/2 t soda
1 T corn syrup
Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add
1/2 t vanilla
Beat and then pour over cake while still warm.
*Sour evap milk can be made by adding 1/2 T vinegar to sweet milk. Let stand at least 10 minutes.
